Thinking Green: DIY plastic-free deodorant (Ellenbrook)

24 January 2023 @ 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Free
homemade deodorant

Please note that this is a program for suitable for adults and young people aged 12 and over and is a hands-on workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.

Making your own deodorant saves money, is healthier for your body, and reduces packaging and the best part – it actually works! It also makes a great present.

This hands-on workshop introduces the idea of homemade skincare products as a natural, environmental and cost-effective alternative to buying pre-packaged products. It includes a presentation about the materials used, good practices and where to locally and sustainably source products.

All materials are included. Participants will take home their own deodorant in a 30 ml tin and a recipe handout.

Thinking Green is a series of free programs hosted across the City’s libraries and community venues! To find out more and see the full list of workshops and talks, visit the City of Swan Libraries website.

Please book in as spaces are limited. For all inquiries contact Ellenbrook Community Library (08) 9207 8787.
